Welcome to the Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Staff Psychological Wellbeing Hub.

The Hub is open to all members of the NHS and Social Care workforce employed by organisations in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin.

We recognise that there are a range of factors that may impact your mental health and wellbeing as an NHS or Social care worker. Including working throughout the COVID 19 pandemic or personal life experiences outside of work. Therefore, supporting the psychological wellbeing of our people is something that has never been more important. We are here to help you!

What does the hub do?

The Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin Staff Psychological Wellbeing Hub is a safe and confidential space to check in, see how you are feeling and discuss what additional support you may need at this time.

Our team of qualified mental health professionals can give you space to talk about your individual experiences, give advice and signpost to potential sources of support or offer access to evidence-based therapies in house or support with referrals elsewhere if needed.

With your consent, we can also liaise with services on your behalf e.g., Occupational Health and Staff Counselling Services.

Referral form

We are a small multidisciplinary team consisting of the following:

A CBT Therapist.
A Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner.
An Occupational Therapist.
A Counsellor.
Assistant Psychologists.
A Business Support officer
An Administrator.

We also have a Psychotherapist, a Counsellor and a small team of Psychologists working for us on an ad hoc basis.

The information you provide to us will remain confidential however, the only time we'd break this confidentiality is if we're concerned about your safety and wellbeing or the safety and wellbeing of those around you. We'll always try and discuss this with you at the time.

We take out of area referrals should there be any issues surrounding confidentiality.

We host a wide range of mental health and wellbeing webinars which are free and easy to access for our colleagues working for the NHS and social care. Here is a link to our Eventbrite page where all tickets can be purchased. Please note: you do not need to access the Hub for support to have access to these webinars.

We are open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, however we may also be able to offer some appointments on a flexible basis.
