The Sandbox is an 'online hub' for children and young people in South Staffordshire where they can safely seek help and advice about their mental health. The Sandbox is powered by Mindler, contracted by Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
The Sandbox provides a creative and engaging platform via livestreams, gaming, and short videos. They also provide quick access to mental health support including mental health assessment, internet-delivered Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (iCBT) and one-to-one therapy.
Emotional health and wellbeing support for children and young people aged 5-18. Provided from locations throughout Staffordshire, including schools and colleges – Stay Well offers access to a wide range of support services to promote wellbeing and recovery from low-level mental distress, e.g.: stress, anxiety, phobias plus low mood.
Stay Well also provides training and support for teachers and parents to help them understand and support children & young people who experiencing or at risk of mental distress.
Referrals are made via self referral on the Stay Well website.
Bereavement support no matter the reason for the bereavement. Offered via one-to-one support, family group support, peer support group, other peer and family activity support groups.
Winston's Wish provides grief and bereavement support for children and young people, up to 25, after the death of someone important, along with advice and support for parents and carers. More information can be found on the Winston's Wish website.
Apart of Me – is an app designed to help children, young people and their families to cope with the feelings of grief and loss. They describe it as ‘It's a game. It's a community. Aims to help young people make informed choices about their alcohol and drug use, and to raise awareness of all the risks involved across Staffordshire. This includes providing high quality and responsive support and assistance to parents and carers, schools, colleges, statutory services and other young person’s services.
This service offers confidential support and work for everyone over 11 years of age who have been affected at any time in their lives. SARAC’s objectives include the delivery of specialist, face-to-face emotional support, ensuring all supporters are trained to a high standard, and are managed and supported to a high standard.
They offer support within the Burton, Lichfield, Tamworth and Uttoxeter area.

SAVANA
Savana provides free counselling and support services within Stoke on Trent & Staffordshire for anyone who has been affected by sexual violence and abuse from the age of 4 upwards.
Family Support Services offer a variety of support to the whole family, including parenting advice, support around emotional and behavioural concerns, building relationships, supporting with other services including school and understanding child development.

Staffordshire’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service provide free, impartial, confidential advice and support around Education, Health and Social Care.
When a child is presenting with additional needs compared to their peers within school, schools will explore their needs through a graduated response. The Graduated Response Toolkit aims to provide guidance to schools regarding meeting the needs of children/ young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at the Graduated Response level of The SEND Code of Practice.
