Aims of the course

To develop an awareness of the theoretical foundation of IPT and Step 2 interventions that can be used within the role of a PWP or Healthcare worker

To further enhance skills in assessment and referrals for onward Step 3 treatment

To develop an awareness of Trauma and Loss and working with complicated grief in perinatal depression

To develop skills and understanding of working with the emotional and physical body and the impact this has on mental and physical health
This training will be delivered over a period of 2 days. A training manual will be provided for every attendee to enhance and reinforce the learning.
A certificate for CPD hours will be provided by the IPT West Midlands Training Team, who provides bespoke training in mental health and is an accredited and approved IPT UK Training Centre.
