The sessions provide an opportunity for those living with dementia and their carers to come together for a sing song, chat and cup of tea.
Helen Wilson, Arts for Health Project Worker says “The well-attended programme funded by The People’s Post Code Lottery is vital for those who love to socialise and sing, have an interest in music or just want to be somewhere joyous, safe and friendly.
“It is a fun session where carers can be with other carers who are experiencing dementia with a loved one and where they can share a common interest in music and songs form the past”.
The sessions take place as follows;
Cannock: Tuesday 10th September, 1.30pm at St Thomas Church, Dual Way, Stafford Rd, Huntington, Cannock WS12 4PD
Stafford: Monday 16th September, 1.30pm at Walton Village Hall, Green Gore Lane, Walton on the Hill, Stafford ST17 0LD
