The Voice of Frontline Staff event brought together dozens of MPFT colleagues from across the organisation to share great practice and learn from each other. It was held by the Trust’s Clinical and Practice Network at the Beaconside Conference Centre in Stafford.
Alongside more than 90 posters displaying inspirational examples of how change has been led by staff and teams, the event also heard from colleagues who shared the many ways in which the changes they have made have helped to transform the way services are delivered for the communities we serve.
The posters celebrated the continuous improvement that has been achieved, highlighting the reasons for change, as well as outcomes and the impact on services, patients, service users and carers.
The event was held as part of MPFT’s Big Celebration Month throughout June, leading up to the 75th birthday of the NHS on 5 July.
MPFT’s Chief Executive Officer Neil Carr said: “I was delighted to open the Voice of Frontline Staff event and to spend time with such dedicated people, who I’m so proud to call colleagues.
“The event provided an excellent opportunity to meet with so many teams from across the Trust and to hear about the fantastic projects that have made, and are making, a real difference to service delivery and ultimately, to the lives of the communities we serve. We encourage our colleagues to challenge the status quo and continue to make change happen in their commitment to continuous improvement and clinical excellence.”
Rachel McKeown, Director of Allied Health Professionals said: “Through the many posters, displays and presentations on the day, this wonderful event captured a sense of the drive and determination of our staff to deliver continuous improvement for the benefit of those receiving our services. The work they do is truly inspirational and showcases just some of the many reasons why MPFT is such a fantastic place to work.”
