In May we commenced our Digital Health Visits, presented at The Access Group conference and continued to progress a number of exciting projects. We are also preparing for new projects, including RiO Flow and Patient Insights.
Welcome to the April edition of the DCF Programme Update! In April, we kicked off two new projects including the ‘Patients Know Best Phase 2 Pilot’ and the ‘RiO to Safeguard Ulysses Click Through’. We also saw Censeo and RiO Video Consultations go live. Additionally, there has been good progress across other projects in the programme, read on for more updates!
We're thrilled to announce that the Digital Angels have won the Innovation in Digital award at the Positive Practice Mental Health Collaborative Awards. This achievement marks a turning point in our organisational culture. In 2021, we expanded our IT Training team's role, focusing on hands-on business change and cultural support. The Digital Angels now offer personalised digital support sessions to MPFT staff, service users, and the local community. By 2023, they had trained 5,712 individuals in Microsoft courses and clinical systems, showcasing our commitment to digital empowerment and innovation.
MPFT Digital's new benefits realisation reports aim to change and benefit healthcare delivery, staff satisfaction and service user experience. These reports analyse project outcomes, ensuring alignment with staff and service user needs while ensuring there is a supportive work environment. The report seeks to ensure that every digital project, to meet the needs and requirements of staff and service users through collaboration and transparency.

Welcome to the MPFT Digital Fair, where on Monday 26th February 2024, we explored strategies for digital transformation with staff from Midlands Partnership NHS University Foundation Trust. Promoting staff engagement and learning, speakers highlighted the importance of hands-on training with new systems and videos were showcased to educate both staff and service users in all areas digital.
