In the latest March update from MPFT Digital, several key projects showcase the digital transformation and innovation in digital healthcare delivery. The highlighted projects are GP Connect, Censeo Psyomics, Rio ICE Click through, Rio Video Consultations, IAPTUS Rio integration, Hybrid Mail, Role-Based Access Control, and Referral Portal Phase 2.
One of the standout projects is Censeo Psyomics, a digital mental health assessment platform. This platform guides users through a series of adaptive questions online, aiming to construct a detailed picture of their mental health symptoms and concerns. This innovative approach promises to enhance mental health care accessibility and efficiency.
Another significant development is the increasing the use of video consultations within the NHS. Over recent years, video consultations have emerged as a valuable tool, providing patients with convenient access to healthcare services from the comfort of their homes. Moreover, for healthcare staff, video consultations offer an efficient mode of operation, reducing the need for travel and optimising resource allocation. The COVID-19 pandemic acted as a catalyst for digital transformation, accelerating the deployment of Modality’s OneConsultation product across Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust.
In addition to these projects, the update reveals plans to formalise several Digital Care Framework (DCF) initiatives into projects at the Programme Board between April and July 2024. While some adjustments to project timelines have been made in recent updates, the team emphasises the importance of ensuring the accuracy of these timelines before formally commencing projects. Despite potential delays, proactive planning and activities continue to progress on these projects.
