In a significant leap for patient care, Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT) staff now have improved access to key patient information through GP Connect. The system went live on 13th February 2024, this system allows authorised staff across various care settings to seamlessly access their patients' GP records directly from the RiO Clinical System, using a read-only 'Click Through' feature.
As part of the recent MPFT Digital Fair that took place on the 26th February 2024, staff within the Trust attended lectures and stalls from the digital team and colleagues who have successfully integrated Digital Transformations within their service areas. Jack Gould from MPFT Digital and Jack Wightman from The Access Group shared insights into the DCF Programme, shedding light on its new features and functionalities.
Looking ahead, MPFT is keen on gathering feedback to ensure continuous improvement on projects and systems. Staff and patients are encouraged to complete a survey regarding their experience with video consultations within the Trust. This feedback will play a pivotal role in shaping an upcoming project aiming to seamlessly integrate video consultations within RiO. By incorporating user feedback, the team aims to tailor its training and business change approach to ensure the system is optimised to meet the needs of users.
